The Organizational Members are collective and recognized entities meaningfully engaged in SLM.

  1. Home
  2. Organizational Membership

They constitute the WOCAT Global Network and are available in their institutional capacity to engage with WOCAT initiatives and developments at global, regional or local level. A distinguished Organizational Member may connect with or be requested to partake in the WOCAT Regional Clusters.

Being an Organizational Member entails:

  • participation, in the respective capacity, in the WOCAT Network,
  • Global Network Meetings every two years, nominating at least one participant on a self-funded basis,
  • autonomous, decentralized, and self-funded operation and decision-making,
  • contribute to the global WOCAT knowledge base and database by sharing information products, data or other materials with the Secretariat, while maintaining any right and property.

WOCAT Global Network Organizational Member application process:

  1. Download the application form (WOCAT - MoU for Organizational Membership) on the right, fill in the relevant sections, and share it back via email to wocat.cde@unibe.ch in either .docx or .pdf format. (Digital signatures not required at this stage)
  2. Membership applications will be processed and reviewed by the WOCAT Executive Team in order of arrival. There is currently no deadline, however, please make sure to include an active and supervised email address, as it will be used for internal communication and to help speed up the revision process.
  3. Following the review and approval of the application by the WOCAT Executive Team, the MoU can then be signed by both parties to signify the commencement of the partnership.

The MoU is available in:
