Contribution of land and water management approaches to Sustainable Land Management and achieving Land Degradation Neutrality

The United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) has published a policy brief about the contribution of land and water management approaches to Sustainable Land Management and achieving Land Degradation Neutrality.

The brief is a direct response to the UNCCD Decision 19/COP.15/23/Add.1 and a product of the Align4LDN project. It was implemented by UNU-EHS in close collaboration with UNCCD and with contribution of WOCAT.

Additional to the policy brief, there is also a scientific article available on the same topic. In the article the authors assess how selected land and water management approaches that have been developed in recent years contribute to SLM and the achievement of LDN.
